Mary Lau-Miki, PT DPT* Physical Therapist PT Director
Dr. Lau-Miki graduated from the University of Colorado in 1983, and received her Doctorate from Arcadia University, PA, and has been in practice for the past 34 years. She is a certified lymphedema therapist and APTA Clinical Instructor. She specializes in Women's and Men's Health (urinary and fecal incontinence), with emphasis on manual techniques for the SI joint/pelvic pain dysfunctions. She has a strong background in Health Promotion & Education, Program Development and Business Administration. Her experience includes treating orthopedic, chronic pain, and neurological patients. Dr. Lau-Miki has held various administrative positions, including PT Network Director, HI Chapter Membership Chairperson, and State of HI Peer Reviewer. She is a member of the APTA Women's Health Section, National Osteoporosis Foundation, American Cancer Society, Society of Urologic Nurses and Associates (SUNA) and the National Lymphedema Association. Currently, she serves as the Hawaii Osteoporosis Chairperson and serves on the Hawaii RICO Physical Therapy Peer Review Committee.
A Physical Therapist since 1991, Lynne graduated from the University of North Dakota. She has over 25 years of experience, is an APTA member, and is a certified APTA Clinical Instructor. She has a strong background in the treatment of orthopedic-sports related injuries, neurological, post-op orthopedic, amputation and spinal cord injuries. She also specializes in the treatment of lympehdema and stroke rehab. Lynne integrates manual therapy techniques such as myofascial release , joint/spinal mobilizations and sacroiliac joint corrections in her plan of care to maximize functional outcomes and return patients to a healthy lifestyle. She is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association.
A Physical Therapist since 1986, Tammie graduated from Pacific University, OR. She has over 30 years of experience in acute care, home-health, sub-acute rehabilitation, and out- patient private practice. She utilizes her strong background in joint, spinal and soft tissue mobilization in her approach to treating various neurological and orthopedic diagnoses. She is a member of the APTA and has had training in both Barnes' and Bajelas' approaches to Myofascial Release (MFR). She has also received certification in Neurodevelopmental Treatment (NDT).
Jinky Nisperos, PT Physical Therapist Health & Education Coordinator
A Physical Therapist since 2005, Jinky graduated from Mariano Marcos State University Philipppines. She has over 11 years of experience and currently specializes in Mens and Women's Health programs, treating patients with bladder incontinence, pre- and post-prostate surgery care, and orthopedic rehabilitation. She is certified by Herman and Wallace Rehab Institute in Female Pelvic Floor Examination and Treatment. A member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), and the Society of Urologic Nurses and Associates (SUNA). She speaks Ilocano, Tagalog, and English.
Maria Manolita Endaya, PT* Physical Therapist
A Physical Therapist since 1987, Lita graduated from the University of Santo Tomas, Manila, Philippines. She has been in practice for the past 29 years , has completed McKenzie A,B,C program, orthopedic manual courses and is certified as a lymphedema therapist (CLT). She integrates manual therapy techniques such as MFR/soft tissue mobilization, joint /spinal mobilization and SI joint corrections and other eclectic approaches in treating orthopedic, post surgical, geriatrics, amputees and neurological disorders. She speaks Tagalog and Visayan and English. She is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association.
Leah Lagasse, PT DPT Physical Therapist
Dr. Lagasse graduated from Belmont University, TN, with her Doctor of Physical Therapy in 2015. She has gained valuable experience in neurological rehabilitation, geriatrics, and orthopedics, including experience with work injuries and the active duty military population training for return to duty. Dr. Lagasse has training in a variety of manual techniques including soft tissue and joint mobilizations, and she incorporates these into her plan of care to optimize her patients’ return to function. She is a member of the APTA and hopes to continue her training in skilled manual techniques to best benefit her patients and assist in returning them to a healthy and active lifestyle.
Mark K. Miki, PT DPT CSCS* Physical Therapist
Dr. Miki completed his Doctor of Physical Therapy at A.T. Still University, AZ in 2015. He has actively treated patients with a diverse range of musculoskeletal and neurological conditions at various physical therapy settings including acute-inpatient, skill-nursing, and outpatient-orthopedic facilities in Arizona, Oregon and Hawaii. Dr. Miki utilizes a collaborative whole-person treatment approach that integrates a combination of manual techniques, activity-specific exercises, patient education and preventative strategies to assist patients in returning to an enjoyable and active lifestyle. Dr. Miki is Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), a member of the APTA-Orthopedic Section and the American Academy of Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapists (AAOMPT).
Vanessa Dasalla, PT DPT Physical Therapist
Dr. Dasalla graduated from Pacific University, OR with her Doctor of Physical Therapy in 2004. She has over 12 years of experience and has a diverse background and experience in treating a variety of orthopedic, sports, post- surgical, and work related injuries and neurological diagnoses. She specializes in orthopedic and sport related injuries with a strong manual background in Maitland and The North America Institute of Orthopedic Manual Therapy (NAIOMT) Level I, II and III. She integrates her techniques with McKenzie, Strain/ Counter- strain, Mulligan, soft tissue mobilizations, and Myofascial Release (MFR) to treat spinal and peripheral joints. She is certified in Work Capacity Evaluations and developed work conditioning/hardening programs for injured workers.
Liza Maciorowski, PT DPT Physical Therapist
Dr. Maciorowski graduated from the University of Colorado with her Doctor of Physical Therapy in 2016. She has had the opportunity to treat many patient populations in different settings, including patients with orthopedic, neurologic conditions, or vestibular problems, pediatric patients, and active-duty service members in the outpatient setting and neurologic and medically complex patients in an in-patient sub-acute rehabilitation facility. She practices patient-centered care and develops individualized treatment plans to help every patient reach his or her goals, incorporating a variety of exercise and manual techniques to include joint and spinal mobilizations. She is a member of the APTA and looks forward to continuing her knowledge to provide the best practice possible for all of her patients.
Shawnte' Warfield, PT DPT Physical Therapist
Dr. Warfield graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University with her Doctor of Physical Therapy in 2006 and has been in practice for 10 yrs, with experience in acute care, inpatient rehab and outpatient orthopedics. She currently specializes in Women's/Men's Health (incontinence, pelvic pain, organ prolapse and SI joint dysfunctions associated with pelvic floor muscle dysfunctions). She has completed STAR (Survivorship Training and Rehab) Program Certification which has enhanced her ability to develop custom rehab programs for patients with cancer. She believes in treating the mind and body and combines soft tissue/joint mobilization, exercise and patient education to help restore patient's function. She is a Certified Clinical Instructor and a member of the APTA Section on Women's Health.
Mary Hughes, PT DPT, OCS* Physical Therapist
Dr. Hughes graduated from the University of Puget Sound in Washington State with her Doctor of Physical Therapy in 2008. In 2013, she became a Board Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) through the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties. She has a strong manual therapy and movement re-education background and has completed a diverse range of coursework, including continuing education sponsored by the APTA and the North American Institute of Orthopedic Manual Therapy (NAIOMT). Dr. Hughes integrates soft tissue and joint mobilization, functional movement training, and therapeutic exercises to treat work and sports related injuries, to rehabilitate post-operative conditions, and to correct a variety of other orthopedic disorders. She is a current member of the APTA Orthopedic Section.
Jennifer Demske, PT DPT* Physical Therapist
Dr. Demske graduated from Elon University in 2003 with a Master's Degree in Physical Therapy and received her Doctor of Physical Therapy in 2005. She has 10 years of practice in the outpatient orthopedic setting. She has a strong manual therapy background and incorporates Strain-Counterstrain, Myofascial Release, and joint mobilizations into her treatments. She has taken a variety continuing education courses, including classes from the North American Institute of Orthopedic Manual Therapy (NAIOMT), the Institute of Physical Art, and the Postural Restoration Institute and has also studied Pilates (Mat and Reformer) through Balanced Body. Jennifer enjoys treating a wide variety of orthopedic conditions and helping patients maximize their quality of life. She also enjoys treating geriatric patients and helping them achieve their functional goals. She is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association.
